FanDuel needed a national commercial to air just before the Super Bowl—one of the most competitive and scrutinized advertising windows of the year. The goal was to create a spot that captured the energy of an NFL pregame broadcast while reinforcing FanDuel’s leadership in the rapidly growing sports betting market.
Solution
Evolution partnered with FanDuel to produce a national commercial designed to look and feel like a live sports broadcast. Working on an empty stage in New York City, we managed production from start to finish—overseeing the set build, talent, and post. The piece featured football legends Phil Simms and Boomer Esiason in a fully realized sports studio environment, shot with cinematic tools to match the scale of the event. In addition to the broadcast spot, we delivered tailored versions for social to extend the campaign’s shelf life and reach viewers across multiple platforms. Every asset was crafted to support a unified brand story and maximize visibility across channels.
Result
The commercial aired nationally ahead of Super Bowl LVII and became a centerpiece of FanDuel’s seasonal campaign. It supported the brand’s momentum during a breakout year that culminated in parent company Flutter Entertainment’s listing on the New York Stock Exchange in January 2024, debuting with a market cap of $43 billion. The project reinforced Evolution’s ability to deliver premium, story-driven content under pressure—and at the highest level of visibility.
