Following the Palisades and Eaton Canyon wildfires, the USS Iowa Museum partnered with Outlier Group to stage a benefit concert celebrating the first responders who protected Los Angeles communities. Evolution supported the project with a five-camera broadcast shoot that captured the concert as a televised special, while also producing a series of social posts leading up to the event to drive awareness and engagement. The integrated approach blended live entertainment, broadcast production, and digital storytelling to create a heartfelt tribute with broad reach.

Our solution involved managing multiple camera crews and orchestrating complex live event logistics to deliver a broadcast production with cinematic quality. Evolution’s team developed a multi-platform content and social media campaign designed to integrate seamlessly with the live show. Using hybrid camera systems tailored for live event filming, we captured performances, audience energy, and artist interactions with the polish of a feature film.
Interviews filmed on the bow beneath the USS Iowa’s massive guns provided iconic branded visuals that reinforced themes of strength, service, and community. A perfectly timed military flyover during Steve Stevens’ performance of the Top Gun: Maverick theme elevated the moment into a true multimedia broadcast spectacle. To extend reach, our team executed a coordinated social media strategy with pre- and post-show content that amplified the broadcast—driving press coverage, earned media, and sustained audience engagement across digital platforms.

The concert distributed over 3,000 complimentary tickets to first responders and their families while fundraising through the Pacific Battleship Center generated substantial donations.
