Rock for Responders
Content Coverage and Promotion for Broadcast and Social
Outlier Group
Rock for Responders was an unforgettable night of music, honoring Los Angeles’ first responders, military, and emergency management teams. Set against the historic backdrop of the Battleship IOWA, the event brought together rock legends Sammy Hagar, Robin Zander (Cheap Trick), Richie Sambora (Bon Jovi), Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple), and Matt Sorum (Guns N’ Roses) for a night that was both electric and meaningful.
Evolution was brought in by the Outlier Group to shoot concert content for the broadcast special and provide a promotional package. We captured the performance with a multi-camera setup, delivering a cinematic experience for a fundraising broadcast. Leading up to the event, we produced short-form teaser content to increase engagement and build excitement. Afterward, we delivered a high-energy wrap-up spot for the USS Iowa and the artists—spotlighting the energy and emotion behind the night.
The results spoke for themselves. Our videos amplified the event’s message, boosted awareness for the event and the USS Iowa Museum, and helped drive support for disaster recovery and resilience efforts across Los Angeles. Rock for Responders wasn’t just a concert—it was a powerful tribute to the heroes who keep our city safe. Evolution was proud to help bring that story to life.
