To launch Entergalactic, Netflix and Kid Cudi’s animated series, the campaign needed more than standard promotion. The creative brief called for storytelling that extended beyond the screen—content that could capture the show’s bold visual identity, highlight its cultural relevance, and showcase its star-studded cast. Evolution was tasked with creating a cinematic companion piece that would resonate with fans, expand the series’ artistic DNA, and strategically position the project within Netflix’s global campaign.

Partnering with Netflix and The Refinery, Evolution designed and produced a dynamic studio shoot that mirrored the energy and artistry of Entergalactic. With only one production day to build, light, film, and strike the set, our team created an environment inspired by artist lofts and creative studios. The shoot featured interviews with Kid Cudi, Vanessa Hudgens, Laura Harrier, and the series’ creators—captured with staggered setups and fluid camera movement to maintain cinematic flow. Every decision from set design to visual pacing was aligned with the show’s unique style, ensuring the featurette felt like an authentic extension of the series’ world.

The featurette premiered across Netflix, YouTube, and digital platforms, becoming a cornerstone of the Entergalactic launch campaign.
